Nothing more that feelings

Assalaam Akikom wa rahmat ALLAH
Peace and blessings be upon you

Hello Everybody

- Hicham
- Yes?
- Ramadan is leaving.
- What? Leaving? It had just arrived!

After this short dialogue, I found myself writing this post. I’m trying to understand my feelings, as Ramadan is supposed to leave us after whole month of hospitality.

Fly @ RamadanALLAH (Almighty) told us that Ramadan is just few days that quickly pass. Yes, it passed as if a jet plane was passing over a small island, Subhaan ALLAH. Do not ask me from where I got this expression because this is what I really feel.

In fact, I don't know how to express my feelings right now. It is a mix of happiness + sorrow, fear + hope in the same time! Strange but true.

Man feels happy because of being that close to the unlimited power of ALLAH (Almighty). You are so close and you feel like flying even if your legs are still on Earth; as you are subjected to do what you are called to do in your life, i.e. your job.

On the other hand, man can not prevent himself from feeling sorrow because Ramadan is leaving. The spiritual journey that man start during Ramadan is about to finish and the plane has to land. For that matter, the fear that ALLAH (Almighty) didn’t forgive him equals the hope that ALLAH (Almighty) had.

Mercy from ALLAH AlmightyI've unlimited trust in what ALLAH (Almighty) had told, and I'm 101% sure that HIS mercy always came in the first place before punishment or anger. Therefore, I wish, hope, and supplicate that ALLAH (Almighty) had accepted our work as our good deeds. Amen.

Look at this collection of feelings; happiness, sorrow, hope and fear. You can figure I out; this is what we are, neither angles nor devils; just humans who are subjected to do right and wrong. However, ALLAH (Almighty) is always there for us, no matter what. I mentioned this in the previous post entitled "Lost Paradise"

In fact, whatever we do, I do not feel it’s enough to thank ALLAH (Almighty) for the unlimited benefactions HE (Almighty) had granted them to me. If man thinks about just one thing like sight for example, he can not count or list the benefits.

I do believe that the meaning of Zakat in Islam is wider than just paying money. Rather, I see it in a way that every Muslim should pay a tax from what he own in order to gain reward from ALLAH (Almighty).

In other words, man is called pay this zakat by using / dedicating his power (body + mind) to perform his role within this planet, to urbanise Earth, each according to what he/she can afford. I do believe that this is the path to get reward from ALLAH (Almighty)

Well, this post is just feelings, nothing more than feelings, trying to figure out myself while Ramadan is leaving

Happy Eid ul-Fitr for all of you + your families

May ALLAH (Almighty) grant you with joy and happiness. Ameen!

PS: I-MAG's Ramadan's issue is comming soon, incha'allah

UPDATE: OPPS! I did it again. I made a typo mistake@ the title; it should be "Nothing more than feelings" not "that"

Salaam,
Hicham
