Assalaam Akikom wa rahmat ALLAH
Peace and blessings be upon youHello Everybody- Hicham- Yes?- Ramadan is leaving.- What? Leaving? It had just arrived! After this short dialogue, I found myself writing this post. I’m trying to understand my feelings, as Ramadan is supposed to leave us after whole month of hospitality.
ALLAH (Almighty) told us that Ramadan is just few days that quickly pass. Yes, it passed as if a jet plane was passing over a small island, Subhaan ALLAH. Do not ask me from where I got this expression because this is what I really feel.In fact, I don't know how to express my feelings right now. It is a mix of happiness + sorrow, fear + hope in the same time! Strange but true.Man feels happy because of being that close to the unlimited power of ALLAH (Almighty). You are so close and you feel like flying even if your legs are still on Earth; as you are subjected to do what you are called to do in your life, i.e. your job.On the other hand, man can not prevent himself from feeling sorrow because Ramadan is leaving. The spiritual journey that man start during Ramadan is about to finish and the plane has to land. For that matter, the fear that ALLAH (Almighty) didn’t forgive him equals the hope that ALLAH (Almighty) had.
I've unlimited trust in what ALLAH (Almighty) had told, and I'm 101% sure that HIS mercy always came in the first place before punishment or anger. Therefore, I wish, hope, and supplicate that ALLAH (Almighty) had accepted our work as our good deeds. Amen.Look at this collection of feelings; happiness, sorrow, hope and fear. You can figure I out; this is what we are, neither angles nor devils; just humans who are subjected to do right and wrong. However, ALLAH (Almighty) is always there for us, no matter what. I mentioned this in the previous post entitled "Lost Paradise"In fact, whatever we do, I do not feel it’s enough to thank ALLAH (Almighty) for the unlimited benefactions HE (Almighty) had granted them to me. If man thinks about just one thing like sight for example, he can not count or list the benefits.I do believe that the meaning of Zakat in Islam is wider than just paying money. Rather, I see it in a way that every Muslim should pay a tax from what he own in order to gain reward from ALLAH (Almighty).
In other words, man is called pay this zakat by using / dedicating his power (body + mind) to perform his role within this planet, to urbanise Earth, each according to what he/she can afford. I do believe that this is the path to get reward from ALLAH (Almighty)Well, this post is just feelings, nothing more than feelings, trying to figure out myself while Ramadan is leaving
Happy Eid ul-Fitr for all of you + your families
May ALLAH (Almighty) grant you with joy and happiness. Ameen!
PS:

Assalam Alikom wa rahmat ALLAAHHello EverybodyHappiness is magic word which humans are looking for since dawn of history until the Day of Judgment. Every place I go, and every one I meet either being single of married, being healthy or ill, being rich or poor, I found them complaining of the lost paradise of happiness, Subhaan ALLAAH!
I thought about this strange fact, which is found in many great novels by the way. You know what’s the real problem? It’s the absence of satisfaction within the majority of human beings worldwide, except few of them. Satisfaction – simply - is a state of mind where you make harmony with nature + environment + context you live within.Yet I know that life is hard, in fact it’s very very very hard, however when your perspective is wide, and you try to see the whole situation not only the right moment, things can be much easier. I mean, man should try to see the worst things in any situation, and try to adapt himself so this hard situation can pass.On the other hand, satisfaction doesn’t mean not to be ambitious; no no no (3 no), man should be ambitious, and try his best to set himself goals, plan to reach them. However in case failure occurs after all what we did, we should not think that it’s the end of the word.Subhaan ALLAAH, I always wonder: why do we look to on side of the coin? Everything is this life has two sides; bad one + good one, however it’s your eye that decide to catch the bad side and ignore the good one. Subhaan ALLAAH!Madames et Monsieurs / Ladies and Gentlemen: please turn the coin and look to the other side, and believe me; you’ll be shocked that you’ve missed happiness all those years.Do you know the proverb which states: DO not cross the bridge untill you reach it? This is my advice to everybody. Do not expect bad things to happen in the future. Just work in the present, looking for a better future. If things didnt' came as you want, no problem. Yes, we are humans and will be sad, however this must be within the normal limits that make life go on.
People; Look inside you, and restore. Look for the people around, think + understand how much you’ve been gifted from ALLAAH (swt) for the unlimited good stuff HE (swt) offered you; however you complain from small things that really can pass if you make your vision wider; i.e. satisfaction. The cornerstone for the satisfaction is not only reasonable one by mind, but also in parallel, or in the 1st place, it should be accompanied by the deep understanding for your role as human on this planet. This will lead us directly to the basic point which people used to ignore: your relation with The Creator, ALLAAH (swt).ALLAAH (swt) is the unlimited power in this universe, and if you need any kind of spiritual support, do not hesitate; ask ALLAAH (swt) directly from the deep and the bottom of your heart, because in fact, no one can offer you everything except The Sustainer, ALLAAH (swt)Yes I know, we are humans and we need to support each other. I understand this very well, however this is something between humans. I think when people ask help from ALLAH (swt), they can help others.I believe that humans should support each other, and if you do not already know, there are people who find their happiness when they place a smile upon the others’ faces, when they help them, when they guide them, when they take care about them, because this is the real happiness for those people. i.e. to give not to take.FinallyDid you read Paulo Coelho’s greatest novel, The Alchemist? Well, the main theme of this novel = Happiness is closer than you think + do not ignore signs that lead you to find your way of happiness. This is what I understand from this great novel. You know what? Humans always look for happiness far away, and do not realise that happiness is just very close, may be closer than they think.
Oh people! If only we look around, paradise is found.
